Can Donald Trump do better than Arsene Wenger as Arsenal next manager?

American top TV host, Piers Morgan, who has long called for Wenger to be replaced at the club after 14 years without a Premier League title, called for Trump to replace Arsene Wenger as Arsenal manager because he could 'build a strong defensive wall'.

The TV host teased Sunday's world exclusive interview with the president with a photo uploaded to Twitter which showed the American billionaire's name emblazoned on the back of an Arsenal home shirt.

However, Arsenal right back Hector Bellerin has offered his view on the club's managerial position – stating emphatically that he does not want United States President Donald Trump in charge at the Emirates. Bellerin quickly shot down the Arsenal fan's quirky managerial suggestion.

'Hope he said no,' wrote the right-back.

Bellerin has thrived under the tutelage of Wenger and he played a key role on Wednesday as they overcame Chelsea at the Emirates to reach the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

Arsenal fell behind to an early goal from Eden Hazard but responded well before taking the lead in the second half thanks to a goal from Granit Xhaka.

Wenger signed a new two-year-deal with the club last summer in a bid to clarify his immediate future after question marks emerged as to whether he would step down.

But should he leave his role in the near future, Trump may not receive a glowing endorsement from one of the club's Spanish defenders.
