Checkout the new value of each Manchester United player

Romelu Lukaku’s value has almost doubled since his £75m move to Manchester United.

That’s according to a study estimating the price of every player from Europe’s top clubs.

In a summer when Jose Mourinho hopes to spend heavily to turn United into genuine title contenders the CIES Football Observatory estimates that every one of his signings at Old Trafford have increased in value.

Lukaku is the stand out player after less than a season at the club.

The Belgian striker’s 30 goals for club and country since arriving from Everton have seen his price tag rise to £142m.

That will be music to the ears of United’s executive vice chairman Ed Woodward, who will green light Mourinho’s next spending spree.

Club record signing Paul Pogba’s price has also inflated despite being dropped by Mourinho in recent weeks.

The £89m Frenchman could command a fee of £127m according to the study.

And Alexis Sanchez’ troubled start at United following his move from Arsenal has not had a negative impact on his price either.

The Chilean arrived as a straight swap for Henrikh Mkhitaryan - and he is currently valued at £85.1m.

Other Mourinho signings Victor Lindelof (£31m-£44m), Eric Bailly (£30m-£42.9m) and Nemanja Matic (£40m-£55m) have also gone up in price.

The study is based on factors such as age, form and contract duration, which has seen the values of a host of players, such as Juan Mata, Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and Marouane Fellaini severely impacted.

But major positives for the club are the estimates for homegrown talent like Marcus Rashford (£96.5m), Jesse Lingard (£48.9m) and Scott McTominay (£12m).

David de Gea, meanwhile, will become the most expensive goalkeeper in history if he heads to Real Madrid - rated at £41m, following his £18.9m move from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
