10 year girl died after being thrown from quad bike on farm in Cornwall.

A ten-year-old girl has died after being thrown from a quad bike which overturned on a farm in Cornwall, police say.


Lily McCormick, described by her family as "beautiful" with a "wild and crazy personality," died on Sunday after being thrown from a Gator Utility Vehicle in Looe.


She suffered life-threatening head injuries during the incident and was taken by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, Devon.


Sadly she was pronounced dead a short time later.


The male rider of the quad bike was treated for minor injuries.


Lily's death is not being treated as suspicious but the circumstances of the incident are being investigated by police.


Devastated family and friends are wearing a red ribbon around their left wrist in memory of Lily, as red was her favourite colour.

A candle has been lit in memory of the young girl at St Neot Church near Liskeard, Cornwall


A fundraising page has been set up for Lily's family.The gofundme page says: "Sadly Lily has gone to fly high with the angels in the sky.
