ALL OVER! Belgium 3 -2 Japan

Belgium beat Japan to become the first side to come from 2-0 down to win in the knockout stage since West Germany beat England in 1970.

It was 45 minutes of sheer entertainment. Great from Japan in the way they went at Belgium and had belief in their system, but credit to Belgium for coming back. Martinez made the two substitutions and they have won the game for him.

This is what Belgium boss Roberto Martinez has to say about the winning:

"You get pushed in games, let's congratulate Japan, they played the perfect game. They were clinical on the counter and so solid. It was a test of character and you see the reaction of our subs coming on to win the game. It tells you everything about this group of players.

"No negatives today, it was about getting through. It is a day to be very proud of these players. Keep believing in Belgium. In the World Cup you want to be perfect but it's about getting through, it's about winning."
