West Ham apply for work permit for Potential bargain for Anderson as they near £40m deal
West Ham have applied for a work permit for Felipe Anderson as they prepare to smash their transfer record in a deal worth in region of £40 million.

Sources in Italy told Sports
mail that a deal for the Lazio winger to move to the London Stadium was on the cusp of being completed earlier in the week after the Hammers increased their offer.

West Ham will pay an initial £37m for Anderson. Add-ons are likely to make the move worth as much as £40m. That move will follow Jack Wilshere and Andriy Yarmolenko's arrivals this week.

The 25-year-old Anderson is understood to be keen to play under Manuel Pellegrini, who was appointed West Ham manager in the summer.

The manager is thought to have had a huge influence on the deal reaching such an advanced stage.
